The Beginning...

We had "America's Tea Party" at South Fork Ranch in Dallas this Saturday. There were an estimated 37,000 people in attendance. I was one of them.

Hopefully, this will be the beginning of the end for this administration... and the Congress who supports it.

  1. Ben, I try to be an optimist, a glass half full kind of thinker, and until recently that has been a challenge. But I do believe we are witnessing the beginning of true change. The change we need, not the "blowing sunshine up my ass" kind of change we were promised. I have always been a proud and patriotic American, but of late have been disappointed in much of what America and many Americans have become, entitlement minded and unwilling to do for themselves while waiting on big government to take care of us. In the famous (paraphrased) words of Mrs. Obama, I am really proud to be an American right now, seeing people who are willing to stand up for their unalienable rights to liberty, and voice their opinions against a socialistic leaning agenda being forced upon us by power hungry politicians (from both parties). It is going to take a lot of work and years to undo what has been transpiring in this country for the last 70 years. For America to be what it once was we must return to the basic principles of the Declaration of Independence and the laws, as written, in The Constitution. Those are what made us what we were, a great nation revered by other nations. Divergence from those principles and laws has made us what we have become, a nation strugling with increasing debt and diminishing respect from other nations. God Bless America, we sure need it right now.
