Merriam-Webster defines sublime as follows:
1 a : lofty, grand, or exalted in thought, expression, or manner b : of outstanding spiritual, intellectual, or moral worth c : tending to inspire awe usually because of elevated quality (as of beauty, nobility, or grandeur) or transcendent excellence

Our duty to God, our brothers, and our country should not be taken lightly. We should hold ourselves accountable to the highest standard, and we should hold our representatives accountable to the same high standard. They cannot take their duty lightly.
